Handcrafted from start to finish, these handcrafted aromatic cedar picture frames feature hard maple spline joinery in each corner and solid wood construction. There are no cheap nails, brads, or metal fasteners, but solid cedar wood through and through.

Every frame also has a 1/4" x 3/8" inset "rabbet" ledge in which art, glass, and backing can be set.

With it's tonally varied purples, reds, pinks, oranges, and yellows, and with it's knots, cracks, splits, twists, and other natural imperfections, cedar makes for the perfect "rustic" frame. It smells amazing too!

Each frame has been finished in two coats of satin polyurethane on the front and sides. I leave the back unfinished for better support of backing adhesives.

I have different sizes available from 4x6", 5x7", 8x10", 11x14", and 16x20".   These measurements refer to the size of the art, glass, or backing that will fit into the frame.   Wood width of each frame side is approximately 2".
